The two paths that existed
For the October round, the Steam page had a Join the ROB RUN Playtest block and a Request Access button. Kefir said the servers could not hold everyone, so seats were a random draw. It was not a line you could wait in.
The other path was the ROB RUN Partner Program at kefirgames.com/creators?game=robRun. Accepted partners were guaranteed a seat. The published bar was more than 100 subscribers, and a person reviewed each application. Applying did not itself grant access.
Two playtest apps, then none
Playtests shipped as their own Steam apps. One was dated 2 October 2026 and another 10 July 2026. Kefir has not published a line-by-line map of which app matched which weekend. On 3 November 2026 the October app’s store URL forwards to the main game, and the July URL no longer stays on a game page. I keep both dates and I do not pick a single “only playtest app”.
The 1 November note says the team is using the test to fix critical issues before Early Access. That note is about the future release, not a new signup form.
Questions
Can I still request ROB RUN playtest access?
On 3 Nov 2026 the Steam page no longer shows Request Access. The round ended 2 Nov 2026 at 08:00 CET.
Can I buy a ROB RUN key?
The published paths were a random Steam request and the creator program. Announcements do not list a key shop.
Does the creator program still guarantee a seat?
It guaranteed a seat for that playtest if you were accepted. A future round is not dated.
